So, do you think you know Mumbles?
Following the success of Stumbles Through Mumbles in 2019, Lighthouse Theatre is returning with something old and something new.
Stumbles Through Mumbles will run (or should we say walk?) on selected dates throughout the summer months. It is a performance-based walking tour focusing on the artistic and literary history of Mumbles, featuring readings and performances from over a 1,000 years of Mumbles’ history.
Starting at the top of Castle Avenue, it is a leisurely stroll along the front and through the back roads finishing at the slipway. It takes between ninety minutes and two hours and numbers are strictly limited. Moderate mobility is required for these walks.
In addition, we will be premiering a new performance walk, entitled Walking The Dead….a more morbid look on Mumbles’ history, it features, ghosts and ghouls, murder and mayhem, and the odd surprise…This too will begin at the top of Castle Avenue and finish at All Saints’ Church.
