Working with Cardiff Harbour Authority and Arts and Business Cymru, we have created two new shows - one on foot and one on bicycles - which take place on the streets around Cardiff Bay.

Sails Of The Unexpected – Walking and Cycling Tour Shows

A fun and light-hearted look at the history of Cardiff Bay taking you through three thousand years of history from The Pierhead to Butetown. Travel through time from the Celts to the Cenedd (or is that the the Selts to the Senedd?).

Accompany actor guides as they whisk you through the Bay’s history in story, slapstick and song, meeting characters from Cardiff’s past like the Marquess of Bute or Dai Davies of Llandinam. These  promenade performances begin in front of The Norwegian Church and end at The Pierhead Building. They are moderately strenuous, on flat pavement and streets, and last approximately two hours. (Bicycles NOT provided).

The performances will be in English.
