Stumbles Through Mumbles

Stumbles Through Mumbles!

With over two thousand years of history, there is much more to Mumbles than Joe’s Ice Cream and the Lighthouse (though they are pretty cool too!). Let me show you some of the nooks and crannies and tell you some of the ghastly (and ghostly!) stories that make up this lovely little village of ours.

From the stained glass of All Saint’s Church to the ‘little’ castle of William of London, from the composer Morfydd Owen to the man who re-wrote Shakespeare, Mumbles has plenty to offer and is a tiny jewel in the coastline of Swansea Bay. I will help you discover it.

Starting at the top of Castle Avenue, it involves a leisurely stroll along the front and through the back roads finishing at the slipway. It takes between ninety minutes and two hours and numbers are strictly limited. Moderate mobility is required for these walks.

“Fantastic. What a wonderful walk and what lovely weather Mumbles has!”
— Jeanine Beck, Divonne-les-Bains, France

“I live in Swansea and I learnt a lot.”
— Peg the Princess, Swansea, Wales
