Working with Cardiff Harbour Authority and Arts and Business Cymru, we have created two new tours that took place in May 2023; and which will be performed again in May 2024.
A fun and light-hearted look at the history of Cardiff Bay taking you through three thousand years of history from The Pierhead to the Barrage and Butetown. Travel through time from the Celts to the Cenedd (or is that the the Selts to the Senedd?).
Accompany actor guides as they whisk you through the Bay’s history in story, slapstick and song, meeting characters from Cardiff’s past like the Marquess of Bute or Dai Davies of Llandinam. The walking tour begins in front of The Pierhead building and ends at Butetown Community Centre. The cycling tour begins and ends in front of the Pierhead. Each tour lasts approximately two hours.
In 2024, we are performing both shows from May 24th to May 27th. In addition, we are developing a specially abridged walking tour performance for primary school pupils.
